The Peter Myers Orchestra is at Typhoon in Santa Monica. Six UCLA Jazz Combos perform at Schoenberg Hall in Westwood. Guitarist Molly Miller is at Perch in downtown L.A.. Saxophonist Gavin Templeton celebrates a CD release at Blue Whale in Little Tokyo with Joshua White on piano, Richard Giddens on bass, and Gene Coye on drums.  Drummer Ralph Humphrey is at the Los Angeles College of Music Garage in Pasadena with guitarist Adam Levy and keyboardist Larry Goldings.  Guitarist Adrian Galysh celebrates a CD release at The Baked Potato in Studio City. Vocalist Melanie Taylor is at Spaghettini in Seal Beach. Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra are at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Feliz. UCLA offers the midday Jazz Reggae Festival at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center including performances from the Thelonious Monk Institute Ensemble and the Nate Schwartz Jazz Orchestra. Vocalist Howie Levine and Richie Freidman’s Cool Blue are at Las Hadas in Northridge.
